A Mostra poesia Cinética de Cine Experimental nasceu em 2023 com a ideia que partiu de três artistas realizadores brasileiros de contextos diferentes: Marcia Poppe é cineasta e trabalha o processo artístico na poética transdisciplinar, Fer Canelas é uma leitora voraz, poeta, escritora e tradutora, e Eduardo Criva é diretor de fotografia e artesão. 

O desejo do grupo foi promover um evento de interlocução entre poesia e cinema com autores, poetas, cineastas, artistas multi e transdisciplinares. 

A grande surpresa aconteceu na primeira edição do evento, ao receber obras autorais de diversas partes do Brasil, com a presença do cinema Yanomami, e de outros países, como Guiné-Bissau, Portugal, Argentina, Alemanha e Colômbia.

MINI BIOGRAFIA DOS CURADORES

Marcia Poppe é uma cineasta brasileira e trabalha o processo artístico na poética transdisciplinar. Desde 2015 assina a direção e realização de obras audiovisuais autorais com trabalhos selecionados em diversos festivais nacionais e internacionais, como o curta de animação RESISTIR, de 2015; o longa documental SER FEMININO, de 2017; os curtas experimentais OLHOS EM QUARENTENA, de 2020 e OVOS QUEBRANDO, de 2023. Traçou caminhos múltiplos em 2022 atuando nas artes plásticas com exposições coletivas e exibição da sua série NAUFRÁGIO DA TRADIÇÃO. O curta experimental OVOS QUEBRANDO foi exibido na Cinemateca do MAM e na Flip de Paraty em 2023 e faz parte do acervo da Mostra Poesia Cinética de Cine Experimental. Neste mesmo ano e também na Flip, lançou seu primeiro livro POESIA PARA DANÇAR com a editora Patuá.

Fer Canelas é poeta, escritora, tradutora e palestrante brasileira. Autora dos livros de poesia: MAR DE MORROS, BOVARY NÃO MORA MAIS AQUI, DDPOIS SE VÃO TB OS DDOS, CABEÇAS DE CAMILLE, OFÉLIA (traduções do poeta expressionista Georg Heym). Publicou, em 2024, TORNAR-SE MUITOS, seu primeiro romance, com lançamentos no Brasil e na Alemanha. Autora da poesia no curta experimental OVOS QUEBRANDO, de 2023. Pesquisa e palestra sobre LITERATURA E ÚTERO. É idealizadora e mantenedora passional do Instagram literário @uterinaspoesia. 

Eduardo Criva é diretor de fotografia e artesão brasileiro. Realizou a direção de fotografia de obras audiovisuais autorais com trabalhos selecionados em diversos festivais nacionais e internacionais, como o longa documental SER FEMININO, de 2017; os curtas experimentais OLHOS EM QUARENTENA, de 2020 e OVOS QUEBRANDO, de 2023. Realizador e idealizador dos projetos de exibição da Mostra Poesia Cinética de Cine Experimental. Artesão que atua como SHAPER de pranchas de surfe desde a década de 80, projetando pranchas para atletas de ponta no circuito mundial.

Kinetic Poetry Experimental Film Festival was born in 2023 with the idea that came from three Brazilian filmmakers from different backgrounds: Marcia Poppe is a filmmaker who works with the artistic process in transdisciplinary poetics, Fer Canelas is a voracious reader, poet, writer and translator, and Eduardo Criva is a photography director and craftsman. 

The group's desire was to promote an event in which poetry and cinema could interact with authors, poets, filmmakers and multi- or transdisciplinary artists. 

The first edition of the event was a great surprise, as it received authorial works from various parts of Brazil, with the presence of Yanomami cinema, and other countries such as Guinea-Bissau, Portugal, Argentina, Germany and Colombia.

MINI BIOGRAPHY OF THE CURATORS

Marcia Poppe is a Brazilian filmmaker who works with the artistic process in transdisciplinary poetics. Since 2015, she has directed and produced authorial audiovisual works that have been selected for various national and international festivals, such as the animated short RESISTIR (2015); the feature documentary SER FEMININO, (2017); the experimental shorts OLHOS EM QUARENTENA, (2020) and OVOS QUEBRANDO, (2023). In 2022, she embarked on multiple paths in the visual arts, with group exhibitions and the showing of her series NAUFRÁGIO DA TRADIÇÃO. The experimental short OVOS QUEBRANDO was shown at the Cinemateca do MAM and at Flip in Paraty in 2023 and is part of the collection of the Mostra Poesia Cinética de Cine Experimental. That same year, and also at Flip, he launched his first book POESIA PARA DANÇAR with the publishing house Patuá.

Fer Canelas is a Brazilian poet, writer, translator and lecturer. She is the author of the poetry books MAR DE MORROS, BOVARY DOESN'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE, DDPOIS SE VÃO TB OS DDOS, CABEÇAS DE CAMILLE, OFÉLIA (translations by the expressionist poet Georg Heym). In 2024, she published TORNAR-SE MUITOS, her first novel, which was released in Brazil and Germany. Author of the poetry in the experimental short film OVOS QUEBRANDO, from 2023. She researches and lectures on LITERATURE AND UTERUS. She is the creator and passionate maintainer of the literary Instagram @uterinaspoesia.  

Eduardo Criva is a Brazilian director of photography and craftsman. He has directed the photography of authorial audiovisual works that have been selected for various national and international festivals, such as the documentary feature SER FEMININO, (2017); the experimental short films OLHOS EM QUARENTENA, (2020) and OVOS QUEBRANDO, (2023). Director and creator of the exhibition projects for the Mostra Poesia Cinética de Cine Experimental. A craftsman who has been working as a surfboard SHAPER since the 1980s, designing surfboards for top athletes on the world circuit.
